 'The Book of Boba Fett'

Boba Fett is back in his own Star Wars 8 Episode Show. He & Fennec Shand have taken over the old Jabba's Palace (off the hands of Bib Fortuna) and look set to establish rule over Tatooine as a Crime Lord.

Staring Temuera Morrisson and Ming-Na Wen, the series is the first Star Wars material to really dig into the story of Boba Fett - from cult character in The Empire Strikes Back to starring character in a Mandalorian spin-off is quite the leap!

Book of Boba Fett Trivia

Facts and Trivia about the show will be here

Rumours suggest Fett's rival may be called Hammerhead. This could be a filming code name.

Robert Rodriguez, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Dave Filoni directed episodes. Howard and Filoni directed episodes in seasons one and two of The Mandalorian.

Rodriquez is arguably the most seasoned director of all who has worked on the show, save for Favreau himself. He directed the first episode. Amusingly Tem Morrison appeared in Dusk Till Dawn 3 which Rodriquez wrote.

The robot UK2-Bfeatured in the Palace 'Tribute' scene was played by Matt Berry, perhaps best known for his work on What We Do In The Shadows.

In the first episode of The Book of Boba Fett, three real-life Boston Dynamics "Spot" robots can be seen in the streets of Mos Espa, covered in a new exterior.

Jennifer Beals plays Garsa Fwip, the Twilek that operates the Sanctuary Cantina in Mos Espa.

The introduction of the 'gladiator' Wookie is a character from the books and comics known as Black Krrsantan.

We speculate that the working title of the show is 'The Buccaneer' due to this production sticker that was leaked to Reddit:

buccaneer boba fett title

CAVEAT: THAT MIGHT BE MANDO IN THE IMAGE meaning this title was for Mando itself. But that's Jabba's Palace seemingly in the back ground... go figure.

That said, we understand the production title for the Mandalorian was 'Huckleberry'.

Here's some production stickers that the Buccaneer image came from. Note it says season one. Maybe big things are planned for the son of Jango Fett?
