Set within the timeline of The Mandalorian, this new live-action series from executive producers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni will intersect with future stories and culminate into a climactic story event.

The Mandalorian has showed us 'Ranger's several times - in one key mission they let Mando off his 'charges' due to the good deeds he has been doing around the galaxy - they kill the Ice Spider and let him find his own way off the planet. A clever tie in to this show.

It will be set post the events of Return of the Jedi.
